In April 2014, I was asked by the representative of an organisation, Vidarbha Connect's youth wing VCan in Vidarbha to design a flag for Vidarbha that would be used in their campaigns. I went through rigorously brainstorming sessions that helped me come up with a concept which was later applied on the actual flag design. Have a look. :)
Important things considered during the making of the flag.
Eleven stripes used for eleven districts. Orange & White were used so as to focus on the main cash crops. Also a circle was added in the centre to emphasize the fact that Vidarbha is the centre of India.
