Like many European countries, Bulgaria struggles with a growing street dog population caused by a long-term lack of education and funding.
Animal rights activists including the English community from around region, gathered to protest about condition’s of municipal dog shelter. Dogs living in their excrement and exposed to weather elements like snow, rain, wind and heat dogs do die of heatstroke and frostbite" with poor kennel’s housing. The the new Mayor of Yambol visited the shelter to see to poor treatment of the street dogs.
Reducing the suffering of street dogs in Bulgaria through welfare, education and sterilisation programmes, stopping sights like this picture above, who is now with a foster home and looking for a forever home. Click to help LuluCimbom Stirling
