BACKGROUND /
This film marks our sixth collaboration with 10KTF Shop, and the latest instalment in an epic and ever-expanding narrative that started with a shopkeeper and his cat. In an alternate angle on a previous story, we learn not to judge a Kaiju by it's big ugly face.
This film marks our sixth collaboration with 10KTF Shop, and the latest instalment in an epic and ever-expanding narrative that started with a shopkeeper and his cat. In an alternate angle on a previous story, we learn not to judge a Kaiju by it's big ugly face.
APPROACH /
We took a music focused approach to the soundtrack, where a classic film score style was incorporated, inspired by the likes of the great film composer John Williams. Each phrase speaks of the emotions at play and guides us through the so-called Kaiju's journey. Echoes of the original 10KTF musical theme (conceived in our original collaboration with The Line and 10KTF) is woven into the composition to stay true to the brand. Sound design remains mostly light, allowing space for the music to tell the story and only muscling in when things get heavy.
