My Friend asked me to do a weekend logo job which also turned into a business card package as well.
Some ideas that he gave me included crows, surreal and angels.

The idea behind the logo is essentially a crow, but without the body connecting the key parts, beak, wings, tail feathers, those features could be interprited differently by different people. The simplistic nature of the logo allows it to be used on both a dark or light background. The client didn't want colours, just black and white... so I obliged, although it could very well work with many different colour combinations.
The details side of the business card, for now he only wanted a phone number and an email in addition to his name... nothing fancy, just simple.
I'm happy with the business card design, and because i lack in some design aspects I use Vistaprint to do 'rendering' previews. I mainly do it to double check some of my boarders and to check that it looks alright through another system.
