This assessment required research, preparation, and presentation of a set of documents at a level that would be expected for the lodgement of a building application (BA) for a small to medium-sized project.
The drawings were based on the Anne St Garden Villas Project by Anna O'Gorman Architects.
This documentation set incorporates decisions about detailing, materials, and services. In addition, it incorporates any relevant conditions of approval and specialist consultant information, ensuring the resolution of any conflicts.
This assessment provides the opportunity to prepare drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, together with other details and schedules that would typically be submitted for statutory approval (building approval) to construct the project (A.4 of the AIA Client Architect Agreement). It also provides an opportunity to consider the impact of relevant building codes and standards on architectural design outcomes and the coordination of specialist consultant information.
