About the brand

"Molodist" translates as "the youth" and is an international film festival that usually takes place annually in autumn in Kyiv since 1970. This year, the festival announced the postponement of the main program for spring. And it shocked the movie appreciation community

The task

To develop a complete Key Visual of the festival with all branding and design elements of the event based on this year's concept theme


"Molodist is always young" concept

The concept of the 2019 Molodist festival is the formation of the soul's emotional manifestation in youth and getting to know the world through one's experience

The concept of program posters

A combination of bright accents and elements of youth, playfulness with the main character — a deer. Emphasis on direct associations of directions in a single topic.

Combination of the past experience with the eternal energy of youth.
Bright stylized posters that combine retro shots with the main character and graphics.

The concept is imbued with cinematography, a symbiosis of old and modern, bright colors of youth and carefreeness.
