A gold bullion of 999 weighing 13 kilograms and worth more than 42 million rubles was brought to Boris Bendikov's studio for filming purposes. The second gold bullion weighed 1 kilogram and seemed to be worth only 3 million. Therefore, armed security guards were part of the film crew.

Our story is about the shooting of the advertising company "Zolotomania" for the Clubhouse "Intonacia". Each buyer of an apartment in the residential complex "Intonacia" could receive a gold bullion of 999 as a gift mined by "Mangazeya" in the Zabaykalsky Krai Region.

Work began shortly before filming. I made a big presentation with ideas for KV's. Usually three ideas are being offered, but I got carried away. As it turns out, gold inspires me a lot. As a result, we selected the best idea and "married" it to two others.

Choosing the image of the Snow Maiden (Russian: “Snegurochka”), I tried to move away from the stereotypical costume from the children's Christmas festival. I wanted to show the Snow Maiden figure inspired by a painting by artist Viktor Vasnetsov – the figure of a Russian beauty, dressed in an old Russian traditional fur coat, standing among snowdrifts and... wearing fur mittens.

Costume designer Tatiana Nikolaeva was skeptical about the Snow Maiden costume at first, but the wording "Russian beauty" inspired her. She found a rather rich theatrical costume and was able to rent it. Despite the fact that I wanted to see mittens on the Snow Maiden, they got completely lost in the fur cuffs. Therefore, having tried out a large number of gloves, we picked the bride’s gloves. In fact, the lace of a Valentino dress peeked out of the fur coats’ sleeve.

The filming of the golden hands took much longer than the shooting of the Snow Maiden. The jar of gold paint quickly ran out because of frequent usage for touch-ups. But now I learned about the secret, and thanks to that, the next shooting of golden body parts will be much easier.

The hand model Elena Lotova has tried out dozens of finger and palm positions. I have never seen more beautiful and artistic hands. It seems the chosen hands with KV are a perfect match. And imagine how much strength and endurance it takes to hold a 13-kilogram gold bar with outstretched arms.

Our photo-editor and retoucher Denis Kornilov transformed the gold painted hands into genuine gold.

Certainly, the main star of our project is the photographer Boris Bendikov. Thanks to him, the shooting process was executed technically skillful with guaranteed quality. In his studio it is easy to work and create. I am very grateful that he entrusted me with this project.

But the work on the project did not end there. This was just the first stage. Next, we developed outdoor advertising, Internet banners and press advertising. It is possible to say that we have completed a turn-key project.
