Chorão was the leader of the rock ban Charlie Brown Jr. and one of the biggest popstars in Brazilian history. After decades of success, he passed away in 2013, and this is a feature documentary film telling his story.
I was one of the screenwriters as well as the editor of this feature film, which, among other awards, won the Best Brazilian Documentary prize at the 2019 São Paulo International Film Festival, and is currently on the Netflix Catalogue.
On its release weekend, it was the #1 audience in Brazil for all of the streaming platforms it was on, counting all international titles.
