It's a small world after all.

The Beauty in Simplicity
When I first got into photography what attracted me was the ability to take something you see every day, something simple, and using your camera to make it into something beautiful. My interests in photography have branched far beyond that concept as I experiment and evolve, however I will always maintain a strong interest in using photography to show the beauty in simplicity.
What better way to show the beauty in simplicity and every day objects than with macro photography? It draws your eyes so close to these objects that there is a sort of beauty you see that is typically overlooked.

I shot this with my Canon 60D with a home made extension tube.
When I was doing my macro shots, I discovered that my camera could do macro video. This is a random video I made using some of the macro shots I did of an old flash bulb and a razor blade with lite movement and then there are just some odd clips scattered in there. The macro video was so beautiful in my opinion and I was so excited to find out my camera was capable of it that I felt I should share it.
It's a small world after all.
