A mechanism to influence the movement of people through expansion and contraction. There are two different elements to this device, the ruffle (lazer cut perspex) fans out, like a victorian ruffle which is attached to a laminated piece moulded to the shape of my shoulders. A metal belt with spindals expand to broaden my 'personal space' to 1.5 metre radius. These elements are connected together by a pully system which give me control of the level of expansion.
At Trafalgar Square, one of the busiest centres in London to test and analyse the mechanism.
