ALEŠ RAJSIGL | WINERY
Aleš Rajsigl's winery label project is a conceptual combination of passion for winemaking and art. This initiative was designed to celebrate the uniqueness of each bottle of wine, highlighting the distinctive features of each variety and connecting them with visual art that expresses the emotions evoked by taste, aroma and the overall experience of drinking wine.
As part of this project, each image on the label was carefully selected or created specifically for a given wine variety. The art on the labels is the result of deep research and creative workshops where I worked with winemakers to understand the nuances and complexities of each variety. This collaboration has ensured that each painting is an authentic reflection of the wine it adorns.
The label creation process began with a tasting, during which each wine was analyzed for taste, aroma and texture. Subsequently, I transformed these sensory perceptions into visual compositions that are not only aesthetically appealing, but also express the character and story of each bottle.
The creation of the labels involved the use of various artistic techniques and styles, from abstract art to classical painting, to capture the diversity and specificity of each wine. The colors and shapes on each label are chosen to resonate with the feelings that wine evokes.
The result is a series of labels that are not only carriers of information about wine, but also works of art that enrich the drinking experience and at the same time emphasize the beauty and art of winemaking.
