The llorona' is RA's first musical album. A Colombian artist, musician and composer who has invited me to build the visual universe of her album. Here I share with you some of the artwork that has already been released, the project will be built around 12 months, where we will share the universe of 'The llorona' and Ra herself. A project that you can follow the track through my instagram account @criacuervos____ every month I will be sharing a new piece that makes up this album. It has been very inspirational to work here, I hope you like it as much as I do.
The Llorona, is a fictionalized autobiography from RA, a cycle of songs that tells her personal story of discovering and empowering herself, showing how she loves, fear and change. Then, this album also works as part of the music for that story, which is a reinterpretation of the Hispanic myth of the Weeping Woman or La Llorona, a version that intends to brings hope to humanity. I get inspired in latam landscapes, religious objects, volcanos and women symbology of birth.
