Soviet modernism. Crematorium in Saint-Petersburg

Crematorium
The crematorium building was built in 1973. This is an example of Soviet modernist architecture. Currently, the building has lost its appearance due to the use of modern finishing materials.
The volumetric composition of the building is very simple. This static structure with its entire appearance makes it clear that time has stopped here, but at the same time we all remember that it moves inexorably fast.
There are many columbariums located on a fairly large area.
There are two water tanks at the main entrance. Now they are empty, but before, when they had water, it made an indelible impression. The water enhanced the effect of eternity and tranquility, reflecting the façade of the building.
Now the building is not in very good condition. The previous decoration of the facades, which has been partially preserved, is located behind a curtain of construction mesh.
But despite this, the building has not lost its atmosphere and the mood that a structure of this kind can create.
