Paper Bookends: Wonder Books
Wonder Books is a book which contains four pairs of bookends. Each pair is based on a different literary style: Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Romance Novel.
The distinctive feature of this work is the material, in fact Wonder Books is made of paper. This allows to the project to be more easy to store in a bookshelf and to use eco-sustainable materials.
The bookends are made with the diorama technique and each layer contains different details that complete the scene and is colored with and increasingly darker shade of the same color. This choice gives the sensation of a greater depth to the scene.
The illustration are all made with silouettes, laser cut and glued to a paper frame.
