Chiara Vercesi has illustrated another eye-opening special report from Scientific American. “Innovations in Environmental Health Equity” takes an in-depth look at how environmental injustice is impacting Americans in different ways, from the risk of urban heat islands to the growing threat of Valley fever, and explores potential solutions.

Previously, Chiara illustrated another Scientific American report, "The Urgent Need to Improve Health Equity", for which she won the Science and Technology category in the 2023 World Illustration Awards!
