Initially, I set out to understand how people define the spaces they live in. However, as I delved into the project, I realised that my true interest lay in the unnoticed imprints we leave behind in the spaces that we inhabit.

When we go to sleep and hours later wake up, we unconsciously mold and shape the space we occupy with our presence - that presence is liminal, uncertain and imperceptible, much as that space is. When photographing someone’s bed, I am invading a very intimate space. In what manner does this presence lingers on those sheets? And how could I portrait that atmosphere?
