Hunton Brady Architects Lake Nona Gatehouse

The small gatehouse project for a new and progressive community in Central Florida wants to set the stage for creative design in its community and break away from the traditional gatehouse typology.

The stage starts to be set at the nearest intersection into the subdivision and continues with a sequence involving a series of tree-like lighted elements leading pedestrians and vehicles to the gatehouse.

The driving design idea as to blur the space between the natural and built environments through sculptural organic elements employed both on the path and the structure itself.
