Organized Chaos
We all suffer
From the cycle of
Pleasure and pain
Tragedy and comedy
Of love and loss
How we all
Scatter and mesh
Looking for people with
Parallel wounds
And familiar scars
Living in similar ironies
And comparable metaphors
We are paper boats
In the sea of strangers
Either to reach safe harbor
Or sink into oblivion
Love and longing
Peals of laughter to sobbing
It's either we live
Happy
Or
Helpless
