Wood House
Delicately placed on the cliff in Mohamedia in Morocco, this house designed by architect Anas Diab.
The construction thus preserves the natural site as much as possible and reduces the visual impact of the building by avoiding the creation of a conventional base that is inevitably more substantial. These piles, with a diameter of 25 cm, are made of reinforced concrete and rest on well foundations (1m x 1m x 1m). They were cast on site using formwork lined with Teflon, the latter ensuring the concrete had a perfect finish and a pleasant feel.

The main structure of the house is made of northern fir on which an exterior skin of larch clapboard has been placed.
The exterior terrace is made of autoclaved pine slats.
On the garden level, the space freed up under the house thanks to the construction on stilts houses a large parking area for vehicles.
On the first level are the entrance hall, living room, living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, a bathroom and toilets. Upstairs is the parents' bedroom - enjoying a superb view of the sea - with dressing room, bathroom and toilet.
