Sally Mann

The sally mann video was very interesting to me, the idea of using your children in that nature makes me feel kind of uncomfortable. I can totally see her work being very controversial especially with the use of cigarettes and porn in her work, as her subjects were minors it makes sense that a majority of people would see her work as taboo or just completely wrong. While I can see the beauty of her work and her pictures have amazing composition I think the topic of the photos just makes me uncomfortable, which may be the emotion she wants to bring about with her work.
