For my publications class, we were asked to create a book based on an art movement that we like. I choose the Swiss Art Movement, and the book is about the different typefaces covered during that time. The design aesthetics of the book, including the layout, should reflect on the said movement that we chose. 

The use of overlapping letters was prominent during the Swiss Art Movement, so it was applied on the cover. The Grid System played a huge role during that time, so it adds up to the design cover. Tracing papers were used to create a 3-D effect for the overlapping letters.

Images are not mine and are properly cited on the book. The content is from a compilation of stories, mostly found from the book 'Just My Type' by Simon Garfield.
