The Life and Work of Sally Mann

Sally man can be considered a controversial photographer due to some of the subject matter she choses to take pictures of. The documentary "The Life and Work of Sally Mann" covers a few things such as her upbringing, family, and most importantly her work. Personally I thought her photography was very beautiful.. she is definitely very passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to her art. I also do see why her work can be controversial, some people said the photos of her children were considered child pornography and the photos of the dead people were... well they were dead people (not to disrespect). So one could see Sally's subject matter of her photography being a bit taboo. With that being said... art is very subjective and people are free to hate, like, question, think... whatever you want about someone's art (as long as you are not hurting anyone).
