Mogojastro! (The Mind Weapon)

Feluda, aka Pradosh Chandra Mitra. is the supersleuth created by world renowned fillmaker Satyajit Ray.
Appearing in Sandesh magazine in the 1960s, together with cousin Tapesh Ranjan Mitra aka Topshey as his assistant, and Lal Mohan Ganguly, the mystery thriller writer(better known by his pseudonym Jatayu), Felu-Da(or Brother Felu) remains perhaps the most famous bengali detective even years after his creator's death.
Facing many truly deadly foes, including his arch-nemesis Maganlal Meghraj (immortalised on screen by the legendary Utpal Dutt), Feluda has been featured in a number of stories, movies(played by the thespian, Soumitra Chatterjee and a number of other actors), where he uses his keen observation and sharp intellect as a weapon, which he calls Magaj-astra!
Feluda, like his creator Ray, is a Sherlock Holmes fan, and considers the world famous sleuth to be his mentor and guide.
Here are characters from the Felu-verse, which is MY personal favourite!
Right to left: Private Investigator Prodosh Chondro Mitra, aka Feluda, his friend and popular thriller writer LalMohan Ganguly, aka Jatayu, and Feluda's cousin Tapesh Ranjan Mitra, aka Topshey.
New Market, or Hogg's Market, is one of Feluda, Topshey, Lalmohan Babu's favourite haunts!

Feluda, holding the iconic Ganesh of the Ghoshals, from the story/movie Joy Baba Felunath, directed by Ray himself.
The Mycroft to Feluda's Sherlock. Siddheswar Bose aka Sidhu Jyatha, is an intelligent, sharp, deductive recluse.
Left: Amiyanath Barman, aka Bhabananda aka the false Dr.Hazra, the villain of Sonar Kella; Right: Mandar Bose, his chilling yet comic henchman, and in centre, Feluda's arch-nemesis, Maganlal Meghraj, played by the actor extraordinaire, Utpal Dutt.
