This hot chocolate maker, unites 2 very different concepts: the traditional mexican concept of preparing hot chocolate, and the american way of life. These 2 concepts, were combines to create a modern electrodomestic, that could express mexican culture in a unique way.

The shape and proportions of the container, were taken from a traditional chocolate mug. The shape of this mug, or jarrito, can only be seen when the container is full with chocolate, and keeping the modern and clean appearance of an electrodomestic.
The mexican "molinillo" is a wooden tool, used to mix the hot chocolate, and to foam the milk. We wanted this piece to be the center of attention in the object, so we kept a very similar form and colored it in a bright reddish color.
This chocolatera, has a built-in tray, so you can take the hot chocolate to the table, and share with the whole family. This way, you do not have to carry the cables and electronics to the dining table.
