Jahreskalender Naturgefahren / Annual calendar of natural hazards
This illustration project was realized together with the KFV - Kuratorim für Verkehs-sicherheit, Vienna. The aim of this yearly calender is to increase awareness of all natural hazards among the Austrian population. This is to be achieved by providing a scientifically based calendar that compares the frequencies of natural hazards in Austria for the years 2016 - 2021 over a single annual cycle.
The visual representation of the accumulation of processes and events makes it possible to better grasp the complexity and chronological sequence, especially with regard to the entire course of the year.
The poster should be appealing to children aged 6-12 and help recreational educators
to present the complex content in a way that is easy to understand and selfexplainatory troughout the year.
