She was intended to represent a girl who has just entered puberty, and has essentially lived out all her life as a tomboy. I wanted a laid back, sightly ‘drifty’ sort of person who went with the flow and didn't really question tings until it is too late. The little girl initially starts off as a happy go lucky person, who initially turns into someone obsessed with her reflection. 

She is very mobile, someone who moves her limbs to express herself and is generally very silly. Basically I wanted someone who would be least likely to go in for cosmetic help.

 

This was to contrast the transformation the character makes when she undergoes a makeover. THe movement is slinkier, more sleazy. In terms of physical appearance, all she gets is a haircut but the way the Little Girl moves changes.
