Part One of a project to make Chinese cultural holidays more appealing to me, and people like me. For this, I created tattoo-inspired illustrations to represent the holiday's story characters. This one was for Chinese New Year and was based on The Great Race. I created illustrations of each animal to make a poster, postcards, as well as zodiac fortune cards to be in line with what the respective animals represent.
