The Moccasin Identifier Project is an Indigenous Canadian organization dedicated to advancing awareness of treaties and Indigenous Canadian presence, through the symbol of the moccasin as a deeply meaningful connection between the people and the land. They run hundreds of educational workshops every year that feature their moccasin stencil kit, and we partnered with them to widen their reach by creating a fun interactive AR stencil painting experience, allowing users to paint one of 4 stencils before placing the finished piece anywhere around them in AR and share the image to friends on social media. Educational content rounded out the experience.
