Excerpt of the SWC2023 Europe Preliminaries where I was the technical director, preparing all the OBS Studio scenes as well as the scene switching buttons with Bitfocus Companion. The main difficulties here were the fact that we needed to broadcast in 3 different languages at the same time (English, French and German) and that we needed to communicate with them without talking directly in their ears. So I came up with the solution of using the preview window in OBS to display messages and countdowns for the casters to know when we are about to switch scenes.
