Lula
is an interactive lamp, it is inspired on nature, specifically on leafs; lines of leds are embedded in the "leafs" of Lula and they move in two different positions. To perform such movements effects, an alloy named Flexinol (Niquel- Titanium), is used; this alloy is a common component on robotics, it gives a very natural movement enhancing a different user experience compared to common products in the market.

Three different prototypes:
Using flexinol (Niquel-Titanium alloy) to create the movement.
For the first & second prototype we used a 9V battery and for third prototype a PWM circuit to send micropulses so Flexinol wouldn't suffer deformation.
