for we the fest 2023, i was tasked with designing all of the stages. this one in particular is the biggest out of the 3 stages featured in we the fest 2023.

we call this one the "we the fest stage".

as seen above, i started with a general sketch for all 3 stages of we the fest. i did it this way just to make sure that they would be visually connected to each other.

based on that sketch, i started to block out the big shapes. the jump to adobe illustrator for the printed parts. i often move back and forth from blender to adobe illustrator to design these type of stages.

as seen above, a couple adjustments needed to be made due to the changing landscapes of the venue. and also an example of how i would utilise adobe illustrator as makeshift CAD system.

and after all that prep, i finished it all the way for a preview in blender.
