This was a project that lies at the intersection of world typography, illustration, and cultural representation. 

 

I created illustrations of letters in non-Latin scripts, together with a visual depiction of the country of origin of said scripts. You'll see here the Javanese letter "jha" hovering about the Borobudur Temples of Java, Indonesia, as well as the Persian letter "gaf" against the city of Tehran and the Alborz Mountains.
