Hedonist Brand Identity Development

Startup restaurant in Collaroy, Sydney Australia.

In this project, we will delve into the exciting journey of creating a captivating brand identity for Hedonist. Despite the restaurant's physical establishment being in the mockup stage, we will harness the power of visual storytelling and compelling text to unveil the essence and promise of what the restaurant will soon become. Through strategic use of images and text, we will entice and engage potential customers, building anticipation for the grand opening of the restaurant.

Researching the Local Area

The restaurant is situated on the beach road. This beach road contains many other restaurants, however they offer casual Asian,  Italian or Seafood cuisine. This restaurant aims to have a niche as it will provide a white table cloth atmosphere and elevated modern Australian meals. The branding also consists of  either maximised modern branding or subtle clean look. The aim for this project is to be bespoke and original.

Logo Options

Initially the brief for the logo was to create something that could be created with fluorescent lights as the owner and partners were inspired by by the nightlife in Bali. Hence the fourth logo's handwritten style. However after much research into the history of a hedonistic culture the great Roman Empire came to mind.
