Poster design for Bus Fest 2014. The colour and design inspiration came from pyschedelic artist Wes Wilson.
Bus Fest website re-design. Website Home page. The home page features a central photograph that will be a slide show showcasing various photographs relateed to the Bus Fest Theme. I used the yellow colour scheme to link to my poster design. At the top of the home page is the menu bar listing all the main features of the website, The Bus Fest logo in the top left is a home button, so when clicked by the viewer it will take them back to this home page. At the bottom of the page are two boxes, the one that says "book now" is a button that when clicked is a shortcut that will take the viewer to the booking part of the site, The other box is just to inform the viewer when the event is going to be held. At the very bottom of the page is a yellow strip that when the viewer hovers over it with the cursor brings up a bottom menu.
Bus Fest website re-design. Bottom menu design. The bottom menu features a links few of the most important parts of the website. I have also included the Bus Fest Logo (which isn't a home button this time) and a facebook logo that acts as a button and when clicked will take the viewer to Bus Fest's Facebook page.
Bus Fest website re-design. Top menu, drop menu. The drop menu appears when a viewer places their cursor over one of the sections in the top menu. I designed the drop menu as a simple yellow extention of the the top menu, when the cursor moves over a heading a slightly darker yellow box appears over the selected heading to identify to the viewer which section they are about to click.
