AW20 Puma LQDCell Extol
~
The initial story of the project is to connect the gaming culture, the new age athletes, with streetwear.
Inspired by the vintage gaming tech, the game magazines, everything around the culture and the new gaming console generation, @nintendo switch in particular, it’s the foundation of this project.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed the process

Tech is everywhere and constantly evolving.
We moved from kilometers of cables and rows of computer processors to sophisticated VR to envision present future. The LQD Cell Extol represents the perfect machine; an old Cell performance shoe, ripped off, dissected, improved and rebuilt. An evolved OG running combined to the most recent IQD Cell technology. Inspired by the old Cell runner from the early 2000's but fully upgraded, the Archive pack comes in a rich material mix and vibrant colors.

Not only we want to pay respect to the new age athletes and their skills, also how they inspired us for this project.
I put a little extra effort for this next page.
Our version of the switch game!
Portrayed here is me and my wife.
Especially in the same year this shoe released, we have our son.
So this is kind of a way of us seeing our future, what kind of challenge we will face, and what if it was in a game 😬
Can you find easter eggs from our favorite Nintendo Switch games? Let me know down in the comments section
Here you will find the images which inspired the design, colors, trim, texture and finish of the project.
Especially for the “Old Circuit” (Switch inspired cws) the Formstrip (the puma logo on the quarter) material is using color changing material inspired by the lo-fi LCD screen of the #gameboy. The matte finish of the synthetic is inspired by the matte finish of the Nintendo Switch joycon finish. As for the two tone mesh (with metallic threads) inspired by the copper or metallic details of pcb board.
Enjoy
Development process with the best people in the industry.
Often not highlighted when the product is released, but one of the most important part of the process. Rounds of pullovers, tooling mockups, tear-down meetings.
Praise to the unsung heroes of the industry (dev.team)!
The shoe was featured on a Netflix series Never Have I Ever !!
My favourite inspiration the shoe, Nintendo Switch!!
