Moments Before Destruction
As in its partner work, Moments After Creation, here the notion of apokatastasis from second-century theologian Origen is at play. The moral ambiguity of the act of destruction is foregrounded; destruction is both the annihilation of the world as well as the perfection and completion of all things.
