Elektra Comfort is a coastal hotel located on the island of Thassos, with a history dating back to 1975. Today, it stands completely renovated, featuring bright rooms and comfor-table spaces adorned with minimalistic décor and colors inspired by the island's nature.
A fundamental element of its new identity is the philosophy and commitment to a respon-sible and environmentally friendly concept. Their dedication extends beyond ensuring the utmost comfort for their guests - they strive for a better world. They have developed
a responsible and eco-friendly business model.
The new visual identity needed to straightforwardly and elegantly reflect its philosophy
and values. Consequently, we crafted an elegant, modern, and minimalistic aesthetic,
with typography at its core as our primary means of communication. We developed a typographic system in which our core typeface offers a plethora of alternate "quirky" characters that enhanced the natural aesthetic, elevated the brand identity and provided solutions for a wide range of applications while maintaining simplicity.
Our direction also leaned toward responsible material choices and extended beyond design to the proper production of printed materials, emphasizing the appropriate management of materials used: paper, inks, binding, and recycling waste generated
in production process.
