Lidija Lijić is a multiple world record holder. She is also a skilled diver, mountain climber and even has a pilot's licence. As a Maurice Lacroix "friend of the brand", she was the perfect ambassador to promote a watch that embodies the diversity of the Pontos S Diver. Not only is the watch a true diving tool, but it fits well in city environments too. It has a simplified, retro flavoured style that is functional and hardy enough to keep up with the most driver explorers.

This project was shot over 3 days in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt. Having been the end of winter in Europe meant that we needed to find a dive location close by with dependable sea conditions.

Shooting in open ocean is an extremely tricky thing to do. You have to consider the weather, visibility under water, and safety. And in case you were wondering, shooting underwater at night is near impossible without a huge lighting and safety setup.

DOP, Vitomir Maricic, brought a unique set of filming skills. As a competitive free-diver and engineer himself, he had the ability to follow Lidija diving multiple times. 

Due to the ethereal scenes we were after, the divers couldn't use breathing equipment under water. so they had to prepare heir breath each time, as if in competition. And extremely exhausting and difficult element for the two to endure during shooting.
