A contemporary approach was considered for the art direction and design system for Bastion Apparel. A modern Eco-Streetwear brand that chooses superior comfort and quality sustainable fabrics over fast fashion items.

With the task to create a modern brand identity, with a particular strong focus on the logo reflecting a sense of movement, energy and continual strive for excellence in quality. In response to this brief the logo mark encapsulates attributes of forward momentum, implementing an infinity loop within the form to help reinforce the company's strong values towards continually assuring consistent quality within their products.

Taking cues from the geometric shapes and angles of the brand mark, a comprehensive visual language was built out to create a multi-functional pattern design system for all future print and digital asset applications.
