Tribeca Film Festival, goes to the dessert:
Tribeca Film Festival went to Doha and I was a part of the spectacular beginnings of the first film festival to happen in Qatar. With culture, community, education and entertainment at its foundation, Doha Film Institute serves as an all-encompassing film hub in Doha.
My role as senior designer was to take the brand off the pages of a film guide and translate it into a 3-d experience. From designing the stage sets in a domed open air theatre, to designing graphic light installations and signage, this was an intense opportunity to build a new brand in the dessert.
