Date of project creation: 2018-2020

Created custom comic book covers celebrating LGBTQ icons of history. Each year, I was given a list of around ten historical figures to create covers. I was given image references and free-reign to tell each person's story in a single image. 

This was such a meaningful project to me. The fact that most of the reference images I received were black-n-white, grainy images or videos shows me how fast LGBT history is fading (because it's not taught in high school) and how hard it is to unearth images. So this project meant I was preserving these icons for future generations to see and learn about.
