Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Indiana Jones has been one of my all time favourite characters and film series - and Richard Amsel & Drew Struzan’s work on the poster campaigns for these films is one of the driving forces for me wanting to become a movie poster artist. So I have been dreaming about working on an official poster or something Indy, for a long time - Well, that opportunity came thanks to Walt Disney Theatrical Print Dept. I had the great honour of being asked to create some poster concepts for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny - this was a dream come true! The opportunity of my lifetime! I created some rough comps and managed to illustrate one of them in the time I was given. I am unable to share any of those with you but that’s the way these things go and as you know, the art for the marketing ended up going in a slightly different direction. So, on Saturday, in order to fulfil the urge of my Indy fandom, just as I would as a youngster after seeing a film and being inspired to create something, I went ahead & started comping up what we would deem true ‘fan art’ from released and approved images found online and I Illustrated it in honour of my favourite character in cinema history Indiana Jones - Thank you Lucasfilm, The Walt Disney Company, James Mangold , HarrisonFord and everyone involved in the making of this final instalment - as a life long Indy Fan, you all nailed it! I hope you and all Indiana Jones Fans will enjoy this fan art inspired by your wonderful film...

PS... If you are a fan of these films and still on the fence about seeing it - go enjoy it at the movies - it was really great!!
