THE BRIEF
To produce ten illustration pieces that describe a personal choice of “top ten”. The final outcome should also be able to fit into context with an appropriate publication format such as a magazine article or newspaper supplement.

CONCEPT
My choice of top ten is the topic “top ten weird inventions that made millions”. The idea is to illustrate these inventions.

SOLUTION
The New Yorker is an American magazine that features a mixture of articles based on subjects such as politics, culture, fiction, as well as cartoons and poetries. I chose to illustrate my top ten for this magazine as its content and illustration show a sense of curiosity, humor, cartoon and exaggeration.

My final outcome is a 8x11.5 inch supplement booklet that consists of the editorial section of the ridiculous weird inventions that made millions of profit.
