As well as being a seminal film for film makers, Blade Runner is also an extremely important film for architects. It’s vision for future architecture and urbanism is bleak and devoid of sentiment, warmed only by the buzzing neon disease that bathes the city of Los Angeles in a eerie glow. 

 

Given its architectural connection, our print for Bottleneck Gallery’s "Moments Lost" exhibition draws some of its inspiration from the great Lebbeus Woods, an architect who believed in a retro-fitted and dystopian future. There is also a reference to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House too, which was served as the inspiration for Deckard’s apartment.
