I designed three logo options for Nelsview Integrated Community Projects, an NGO located on a farm outside Ladismith, South Africa.

This non-profit organisation creates space where children in need can benefit from educational and social services, in a loving environment. It is a family and community driven project.

They decided to go with option 3 and changed 'Projects' to 'Project'.

 

The idea behind the logo was to create a symbol of unity, taking hands, helping each other, community & love.

The circle says 'trust' and 'safe place'.

The fruit represent the farm where the NGO is located, as these 3 types of fruit are mainly produced there. The fruit also represent the growth and nurturing resulting from this initiative, as adults and children stand together to create a positive future for themselves.
