My take at Type :)
An experiment in which I tried to create glyphs that gave the feel of a real typeface with structure, unity, and consistency. The first was based off of my own handwriting, drawn on paper, scanned, and traced in Illustrator, and the second was a project the I kind of freehanded in Illustrator. Somehow it felt very skeletal and elongated, and I definitely preferred the prior that I based on my own handwriting and amply titled "Apfelbaum," meaning "Apple Tree" in German. It just felt more organic and natural, which seemed to be the winning aesthetic in this case ;)
