Promotional animation to push an internal audience to a new app that was recently launched. Youtube link.
MY PROCESS:
• Created characters and costumes in Adobe Illustrator prior to animation.
• Storyboard creation with transcript and animation direction at 1:13 minutes.
Final timing close to goal at 1:15 minutes.
• Pulled art scenes from storyboard and created Illustrator files sized 1920x1080 with
114 total parts with named layers.
• Imported layered parts into After Effects and began animating in 3 compositions.
• Added music and sounds effects. 3 sets of edits to reach final version of mp4.
• 5 costume changes for each character in 7 scenes.
• 12 audio files used, 11 of them being sound effects.
• Character movement using RubberHose2 Plug-in.
• Adobe Premier to create closed captions.
