Nogymx - Eien's Fable (album cover)
Inspired by elements already present in Nogymx's lo-fi music, the album cover imagines a space populated by the same mythical presences that can be heard on the album. Each element within the scene is either inspired by one of the varied instruments that leads us through the album, or a character in the world that Nogymx has already established in his other music.
Just like the music of Nogymx the album presents an aesthetic inspired heavily by Korean (and other Asian cultures) mythology. Nogymx's preoccupation with the traditional tones of Asian music is reflected in the elements I have chosen to depict.
The image was originally designed to be printed as a gatefold LP sleeve, however the final product was decided as a cassette tape.
