We were thrilled to collaborate with our friends at Diptongo on an exciting animation project, creating Bonus content for Amazon Prime's highly anticipated new series, 'Los Billis.' Our journey began with the approval of a captivating styleframe made by Harry Villamil, that set the tone for the entire project.

Our primary objective was to immerse ourselves in the mood of the series and bring various scenarios and characters to life while maintaining the style of the approved styleframe. Along the way, we played a crucial role in establishing illustration and universe rules and character Design Structures , helping with the art direction task to ensure that the production maintained a consistent style throughout the entire piece. In addition to the illustration task, Black Studio had the chance to collaborate in the animation stage and solve three animation shots, from the rough stage to the final clean-up

One of our favorite scenes allowed us to return to our favorite animation references based on the Disney style, Embracing the same classic charm as old Disney animations was no small feat, but it filled our team with immense excitement. To pay tribute to Disney's legacy, we were inspired by Marcela Carvajal to create her character as a Disney princess, although in the story this character would represent her older sister, transforming her into a truly magical figure.

This project was a labor of love for all of us, and we're delighted to have been a part of creating something beautiful for 'Los Billis' on Amazon Prime.
