DIY Experience HI&T

The Do It Yourself experience (DIY) objective is to provide customers with step-by-step educational content that guides them to perform Home Improvement and Tools (HI&T) related tasks, as the lack of knowledge regarding installation is one of the main barriers for acquiring products such as locks, plugs, plumbing equipment and other categories of the General Ledger (GL). To pilot the experience, we launched “How to Install a Shelf?” (¿Cómo instalar una repisa?) to measure the effectiveness of this mechanism. We designed the experience so that customers can see a video tutorial of how to install a shelf, find all the specific products and components needed to perform the task and shop relevant categories through direct access points.
